Delete your Dock data
Dock, from Dekat Studios, has no accounts and no servers, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side. Your data lives on your phone and, if you turned it on, in your own Google Drive. Here is how to remove either.
1. Data on your phone
This is your modes, schedules, blocked apps and websites, paired tag, history and theme.
- Delete everything: uninstall Dock. All of it is removed with the app.
- Keep the app but clear it: Android Settings → Apps → Dock → Storage → Clear data.
2. Google Drive backup (only if you turned it on)
The backup is one small file in your own Google Drive's hidden app data folder. It holds your modes, schedules, chosen mode, theme and paired tag.
- In the app: Dock → Settings → Google Drive backup → switch Back up to Google Drive off → Turn off. This deletes the backup file from your Drive.
- From Google Drive directly: drive.google.com → Settings (gear) → Manage apps → Dock → Options → Delete hidden app data.
- Remove Dock's access: myaccount.google.com/permissions → Dock → Remove access. This stops Dock reaching your Drive; use one of the two options above to delete the file itself.
3. Ad data (free version)
Ads are served by Google AdMob, and the data used for them is held by Google, not by us. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads), and manage ad personalization at myadcenter.google.com.
4. Purchases
Purchases are handled by Google Play. We never see your payment details. Your purchase history is kept by Google Play under its own policies, and Dock does not store it anywhere but on your phone.
What we keep
Nothing. We run no servers and hold no copy of your data, so there is no retention period on our side.
